The Two-Step Treatment Process

During a quick, outpatient procedure, a temporary wire is placed near a patient’s spinal cord. They will wear a small, external generator on a belt and go about their normal daily routine. If pain is reduced by at least 50% and mobility improves, the trial is a success.

Step 2: Permanent Implantation

If the trial provides meaningful relief, patients return for a minimally invasive outpatient procedure to have the permanent, customized device placed comfortably beneath the skin.
